Seun Egbegbe, a Nollywood filmmaker who regained freedom from prison in 2022, has opened on his time in detention.

In an interview with actress Biola Bayo on Talk to B show, he revealed that though he has done dirty things in the past, he has never killed someone. He revealed that famous people were brought to the cell where he was, including Ex-Governor Fayose, Former INEC chairman, Mompha and more. He disclosed that in 2020, they didn’t appear in court throughout the year because of COVID.

He praised the Redeemed Christian Church of God for caring for them in prison as he recounted how they fed him and 3000 inmates every Sunday. He admonished citizens never to flee from any crime.

I have done a lot of dirty things in the past but I have never k!lled someone. Famous people were brought to the cell where I was, including ex-Governor Fayose, former INEC chairman, Mompha, etc. In 2020, during COVID, we didn’t appear in court throughout the year. I will advise everyone to flee from cr!me. The Redeemed Church really tried for us in prison. Throughout my stay there, they brought jollof rice, two meat and bottled water each every Sunday for over 3000 inmates”.
