Nollywood actress and media personality, Sharon Okpamen has reportedly passed away after childbirth.
The devastating news was shared online by popular movie producer Stanley Ontop via his official Instagram page.
It was reported that Sharon, who is an Edo-born actress, died after spending days in coma following the delivery of her newborn baby.
The post reads, “Nollywood Actor and Producer Sharon Okpamen has unfortunately passed on. It’s a sad day for Nollywood & the Edo entertainment industry. Sharon, who was a filmmaker, actress, entrepreneur& humanitarian, has left a significant void in the industry. May her soul rest in perfect peace, Amen @sharonokpamen It can only get better Shalom!!!”
